I got an iPod touch in the mail yesterday. It’s very nice. I’ll try to be brief- NUMB3RS is on.

Pros:
It’s beautiful. Interface, style, sound quality (so far as I can tell). My own experience with the keyboard has been very positive, though I should mention it’s a lot easier in landscape mode. Very nice music interface; Safari is a neat feature, but I wouldn’t want to use it for most of my browsing.

Cons: There are actually quite a few, but none deal-breakers. The double-click Home doesn’t work for Cover Flow, so you have to turn it rightside up to change volume. Battery life was not as long as was claimed; I used music and WiFi sparingly throughout the day, but only totalled about 10 hours (on time).

So there are good things and bad, and though I didn’t really say too much, it definitely is worth something (if not as much as they sell for).

Since I haven’t posted anything for a while, I figured I’d let you know what’s up.  I’m done with almost everything this summer, except for some school work; good, because school starts soon.  We’ve been working on resolving some specific gameplay issues in War Wolf; hopefully I’ll work on making the manual up to date, then we can get down to coding.  (Hey- we’ve all been busy.   Harry Potter 7 came out.)  The other project I mentioned a while back is also going well, though it may be some time before I reveal it.

A third project that I’ve never mentioned- I have a CD!  It’s not much- not professionally done- but if you want a copy, let me know.  (FYI, I’ll only give you a copy if I know you in real life.)

I picked up a couple more comics (since last time?  Yes?  Yes.) but haven’t added them.  I’ll get around to it sometime.  Today’s title from SGR 7/9/07.

I finished up the skin, widened it out a little bit.  Too wide?  Meh.  I think it’s alright.  Let me know what you think.
